Evaluation of the Impact of Pneumococcal Conjugate Vaccine on Pediatric Community-Acquired Pneumonia Using an Emergency Database System

The EEDA also allow a real-time surveillance of pneumonia and an adjustment on confounding factors, such as viral respiratory infections. A 13-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV13) seems to be associated with a reduction of community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) in children.
